Impact
What she learned climbing, she teaches on the ground
Bhavna’s work with women runs through a distinct organization with its own purpose and boundaries.
Skills that become incomes
Through Taruni Pragati Trust — which she has led as President since 2009 — Bhavna supports women’s vocational learning and entrepreneurship, particularly in rural Gujarat. Training areas include handicrafts, embroidery, mehndi, jewellery making, candle making, natural sharbat, mukhwas, and cooking.
Workshops have also run under the Government of India’s Entrepreneur Development Programme (EDP) and Entrepreneur Skill Development Programme (ESDP), helping participants move toward self-employment.
How this page treats facts
Program details and outcome numbers publish here only after they are verified. Nothing on this page is a solicitation: the Trust accepts inquiries only — there is no donation facility on this website.
Art in public service
Beyond the Trust, Bhavna’s kites have carried public messages — from promoting Gujarat’s “1091” women’s-safety helpline to craft and cultural workshops with the 100 Battalion Rapid Action Force, Ahmedabad.
